Mt Washington - New Years Day

New Years Day was an absolutely perfect day on the mountain. I had a great time meeting and climbing with Brett, Massimo, Jaison, and Russel from New York. I can't think of a better way to start off the New Year than a climb to the summit of Mt Washington.

The weather was mostly clear, with moderate temperatures and a light breeze. The cloud formations improved the already amazing views in every direction. All the summit buildings and towers were encased in rime ice and snow. This combination of events led to a truly spectacular day on the mountain.

Once above tree line the views kept getting better.

Another beautiful day above tree line.
